so I started to install gentoo and got hit at the first roadblock, selecting mirrors. It wants me to copy /mnt/gentoo/usr/share/portage/config/repos.conf to /mnt/gentoo/etc/portage/repos.conf/gentoo.conf. Easy enough? Too bad that /mnt/gentoo/usr/share/portage/config/repos.conf doesn't exist and neither does /usr. Im giving up for the night on the account of it being 6 am and will start again tomarrow. Hopefully I can get somewhere to get some cool street cred.
